Requirements for Single Capture Version

• A Pentium III 500 Mhz or faster processor
• Pentium 4 is highly recommended for smooth video playback.
• A laptop model is not required, but you may find it convenient if you want to use Eagle Eye DV's Direct Capture and View Live Video functions since to do so you must take your computer with you to the range. A desktop model with a large monitor may make for more comfortable viewing at home.
• At least 64 MB RAM.128 MB or more is strongly recommended.
• A wheel mouse is strongly recommended
• A video card capable of displaying at least 800 x 600 pixels at 16-bit color depth
• A card capable of displaying at least 1024 x 768 at 16-bit or 32-bit color depth is strongly recommended.
• At least 200 MB free disk space
• Approximately 8 MB is required to store a 2 second swing in DV format. Eagle Eye DV itself requires less than 10 MB. Microsoft DirectX 8.1 Runtime (see below) requires 25 MB.
• Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows ME, Windows 2000 Professional or Windows XP (Home or Professional), Window 7
• OHCI compliant firewire (built-in or add-on card). Firewire is also known as i.Link (by Sony) or as IEEE 1394.
• A quality audio card
• If you will be Direct Capturing to Eagle Eye DV using the Hit Detector, you will need a sound card with microphone input.Some on-board audio chip sets such as C-Media are problematic for slow motion playback.
• Microsoft DirectX 8.1 or higher. The Eagle Eye DV 2005 CD contains DirectX 9. A link to the DirectX download is also provided on our Downloads Page.
• Microsoft Windows Media Encoder 9 or higher. This is required if you want to email Swings in video format. It is not required for emailing still shots. Windows Media Encoder 9 is available only for Windows 2000 Professional and Windows XP.The Eagle Eye DV 2005 CD contains Microsoft Windows Media Encoder 9. A link to the Windows Media Encoder download is provided on our Downloads Page.
• Microsoft Windows Media Player 9 or higher. This is required if you want to view video created with Windows Media Encoder 9. The Eagle Eye DV 2005 CD contains Microsoft Windows Media Player 9. A link to the Windows Media Player download is provided on our Downloads Page.
